We’re so excited to celebrate with you! To make planning easier, we’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions to help ensure everyone has a smooth and enjoyable experience on our big day,
Where is the wedding?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at The White Barn in Cheney, Kansas.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 p.m. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to allow time for parking, finding your seat, and getting settled before the ceremony starts.
Are children allowed?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll take this opportunity to relax, enjoy the evening, and celebrate with us!
Is there a dress code?
Yes! Our wedding dress code is semi-formal. We encourage guests to dress up and celebrate with us, while still feeling comfortable. Think cocktail dresses, dress pants, button-down shirts, suits, or similar attire. Please, no shorts, jeans, or hats.
Are there hotels nearby?
Yes! We recommend staying at our room block hotel, Hampton Inn by Hilton, as we’ve reserved a limited number of rooms there at a discounted rate for our guests’ convenience. This hotel is located in Goddard, KS and is the closest hotel to our venue – about a 15-minute drive. We encourage you to book your stay as soon as possible, as rooms in the block are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. When reserving, please mention “March Wedding” so you receive the discounted group rate.

Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available on-site in a gravel lot. There are no marked spaces, so please simply park in line with the other vehicles and use the available space as efficiently as possible.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that guests do not take photos or videos during the ceremony, as we will have professional photographers and a videographer capturing the moment. We can’t wait to share those photos with you afterward!
Do you have a gift registry?
We do not have a traditional gift registry. Instead, we’ve created a honeymoon fund for anyone who would like to contribute and help us create memories on our trip.
